Dionysian Impulse is about an instinctive and endless discovery of flavours

I was born in Istanbul, one of the most beautiful and exciting cities in the word. I spent my childhood travelling from one city to another. I didn’t know it would easily become an addiction. Interestingly, I was a chemical engineering student at Bogazici University when I fell in love with wine.  After a while, I realized that I wanted to discover this world and moved to Bordeaux, where I completed my MBA in Luxury Brand Management, Food and Wine.

My next stop was a dreamland, Tuscany. It was a breathtaking year working in winemaking and learning about viticulture. After this experience, I spent two years as an Export Manager in Istanbul and recently completed a re-branding project for Chateau de Pommard in Burgundy. 

Combining my experience in international sales and brand management, I currently work on various projects for different wine regions around the world based in Zurich.  Furthermore, I continue my education as a Master of Wine Student.

Apart from wine, I dance lindy hop, watch movies and travel. I love visiting cities near water, writing postcards and watching Seinfeld late at night. I always feel a great excitement when I think about the amazing people I haven’t met yet.
